Ha recibido también importantes premios nacionales e internacionales como The Myron Marty Lectureship, Drake University (Iowa USA 2019), The Anderson invited Professorship, Penn State University (2020), guest speaker at NYU, NYU DC, American University, George Washington University, Universidad de Santiago de Chile, The Claremorris Open Award (2004), The Silent Light Film Award (Cork Film Festival 2005), The Project New Work Award from the Arts Council of Ireland (2008, 2009, 2010, 2017), Bursary Awards from the Arts Council of Ireland, Culture Ireland Award (2007, 2010, 2011, 2018, 2019), Local Authority Awards, Travel and Training Award from the Arts Council (2007, 2011), premio IGNITE en 2014 & 2015 y en 2010 fue seleccionada para el prestigioso AIB Prize. El trabajo de Barry forma parte de importantes colecciones de arte internacionales como Art Omi, Nueva York; The Frances Greenberger Collection, Trinity College, Dublín, The Glucksman Gallery, University College Cork, Department of Education & Skills, Office of Public Works; Centro de Arte Contemporáneo, Málaga, ESP; The Butler Gallery collection, NUIG Collections y The Arts Council of Ireland.
